Wayman Education is looking for an enthusiastic and creative Drama Teacher to join a forward-thinking secondary school in Leicester. The successful candidate will have a passion for performing arts and the ability to inspire students through an engaging and ambitious curriculum.

The School

This is a vibrant secondary school with a strong focus on developing students beyond the classroom. The school encourages creativity, confidence and independence and offers a supportive environment for both students and staff.

The Role

  • Teach Drama across KS3 and KS4.

  • Deliver engaging practical and theoretical lessons.

  • Develop students' confidence, creativity and performance skills.

  • Prepare students effectively for examinations.

  • Contribute to performances and extracurricular activities.

The Ideal Candidate

  • QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.

  • Strong Drama or Performing Arts background.

  • Secondary teaching experience.

  • Excellent classroom management skills.

  • Passionate about developing students' creativity and confidence.

Salary

MPS/UPS, dependent on experience.
