Our Client is seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Business Teacher to join a successful school in Ipswich. This is an exciting opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about Business and Economics and enjoys preparing young people for further study, employment and life beyond school.
The successful Business Teacher will be expected to plan and deliver engaging lessons that cover a broad range of business concepts. You will encourage students to understand how businesses operate while developing their ability to analyse information, evaluate business decisions and apply theoretical knowledge to real-world situations.
The department is committed to delivering a curriculum that prepares students for academic success while also helping them understand the wider commercial world. The successful candidate will contribute to lesson planning, assessment, curriculum development and departmental activities.
Strong communication skills will be important, as you will need to explain complex business concepts clearly and adapt your approach to suit different learners. You will also be expected to maintain high standards of behaviour and create a classroom environment where students are encouraged to participate and develop confidence.
The school welcomes applications from experienced Business Teachers and ECTs. It would also be pleased to consider suitably qualified overseas teachers with a recognised formal teaching qualification and the appropriate eligibility to work in the UK.

Experience and Qualifications
Business Teacher with strong subject knowledge
Ability to teach Business across the relevant Key Stages
Experience delivering engaging and challenging Business lessons
Strong understanding of business theory and its practical application
Ability to use current business examples to enhance learning
Excellent classroom management and communication skills
Experience assessing and monitoring student progress
Ability to differentiate lessons for a range of abilities
A formal teaching qualification with QTS, such as a PGCE
Commitment to high standards of teaching and learning
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a department
Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education
Legal ability to work within the UK
