Our Client is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed History Teacher to join a successful school in South Birmingham. The school is seeking a passionate History specialist who can inspire students through engaging lessons and help them develop a strong understanding of historical events, individuals, societies and ideas.
The successful candidate will teach History across KS3 and KS4, delivering well-structured lessons that encourage students to analyse evidence, develop arguments and think critically. You will be expected to create an engaging classroom environment where students are encouraged to ask questions, debate ideas and develop a genuine interest in the subject.
The History Department is collaborative and supportive, with colleagues working together to develop curriculum resources and share effective teaching strategies. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute positively to the department and wider school community.

Experience and Qualifications
History Teacher with the ability to teach across KS3 and KS4
Strong subject knowledge and genuine enthusiasm for History
Ability to plan and deliver engaging, challenging lessons
Strong classroom management and behaviour management skills
Experience assessing and monitoring student progress
Ability to differentiate teaching for a range of abilities
A formal teaching qualification with QTS, such as a PGCE
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education
Legal ability to work within the UK
