A thriving secondary school in Nottingham is looking for an experienced Safeguarding Officer to join its pastoral team and help maintain a safe and supportive environment for pupils.
⚠️ Previous School Safeguarding Experience Essential
This is a hands-on position working closely with the DSL, pastoral leaders, families and external professionals.
⭐ Your Responsibilities
Respond to and record safeguarding concerns
Maintain accurate case files and chronologies
Monitor referrals and agreed actions
Support child protection processes
Liaise with families and external agencies
Assist with safeguarding meetings
Maintain confidentiality and accurate records
👤 About You
You’ll have previous experience in school safeguarding, child protection or a similar education-based role.
You’ll need excellent communication and record-keeping skills, good judgement and the ability to remain calm when dealing with sensitive situations.
