A successful secondary school in Birmingham is seeking an organised and committed Safeguarding Officer to support its safeguarding and pastoral provision.

⚠️ Previous School Safeguarding Experience Essential

You’ll work alongside the DSL and wider pastoral team, helping to ensure safeguarding concerns are identified, recorded and followed up appropriately.

⭐ What You'll Be Doing

  • Manage day-to-day safeguarding concerns

  • Maintain CPOMS and safeguarding records

  • Support referrals and case management

  • Monitor safeguarding actions and chronologies

  • Liaise with parents, staff and external agencies

  • Support safeguarding meetings and reviews

  • Promote strong safeguarding practice across the school

👤 About You

Previous school safeguarding or child protection experience is essential. You’ll be calm under pressure, highly organised and confident dealing with sensitive information.

Experience with CPOMS and multi-agency working would be advantageous.
