A high-performing secondary school in Milton Keynes is looking for an experienced Safeguarding Officer to join its dedicated safeguarding team.

⚠️ Previous School Safeguarding Experience Essential

You’ll work alongside the DSL and pastoral staff, helping to manage safeguarding concerns, maintain accurate records and ensure appropriate actions are followed through. Similar Milton Keynes school safeguarding roles have included CPOMS management, safeguarding meetings and multi-agency working.

⭐ Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and respond to safeguarding concerns

  • Maintain CPOMS and safeguarding records

  • Support referrals and case management

  • Follow up safeguarding actions

  • Liaise with parents and external agencies

  • Assist with safeguarding meetings

  • Support the DSL with child protection procedures

👤 About You

You’ll have previous school safeguarding experience and a strong understanding of child protection procedures.

You’ll be highly organised, calm under pressure and confident handling sensitive information. Experience with CPOMS and multi-agency working would be advantageous.
