Our Client is looking to appoint a talented and enthusiastic Mathematics Teacher to become part of a successful school in Bishop’s Stortford. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated teacher who wants to work in a positive, ambitious environment where high standards of teaching and learning are encouraged.
The successful Mathematics Teacher will be expected to deliver engaging and challenging lessons across KS3 and KS4, helping students to develop strong mathematical understanding, problem-solving skills and confidence. The department has a collaborative approach and provides teachers with the resources and support needed to deliver consistently high-quality lessons.
You will be expected to plan effectively, differentiate learning where appropriate and use assessment to identify gaps in knowledge and support individual progress. The school is looking for someone who can establish positive relationships with students while maintaining high expectations of behaviour and achievement.
This opportunity would suit an experienced Mathematics Teacher or an ECT looking to join a department where they can develop their practice. Overseas teachers with a formal teaching qualification are also encouraged to apply, subject to the relevant UK work requirements.

Experience and Qualifications
Mathematics Teacher with the ability to teach KS3 and KS4
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Mathematics
Excellent lesson planning and classroom management skills
Ability to differentiate lessons effectively
Experience assessing and monitoring student progress
A formal teaching qualification with QTS, such as a PGCE
Commitment to high standards of teaching and learning
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Legal ability to work within the UK
