You will teach Business Studies across GCSE and A-Level, depending on your experience. Students will explore topics including marketing, finance, operations, human resources, business growth and external influences.
A key part of the role will be helping students apply theoretical concepts to realistic business situations. You will use case studies and current examples to encourage students to consider why businesses make particular decisions and what factors influence their success.
At GCSE and A-Level, you will support students with examination preparation, including data response questions, calculations, case-study analysis and extended written answers.
You will assess student work regularly and use feedback to help pupils improve their ability to apply knowledge, analyse information and reach justified conclusions.

Business Studies Teacher - Experience and Qualifications
Business Studies, Business Management, Economics or related Degree
QTS or recognised teaching qualification
Experience teaching Business Studies

Strong understanding of business operations
Excellent analytical and evaluative skills
Ability to use case studies effectively
Strong classroom management
Good planning and assessment skills
Excellent communication skills

Salary
The salary for this Business Studies Teacher position will be paid to scale on MPS/UPS, depending on experience and qualifications.
