A busy secondary school in Dartford is seeking a reliable Science Technician to support its Science department. The successful candidate will play an important role in preparing practical lessons and maintaining safe, well-equipped laboratories.

The Role

  • Practical Preparation: Prepare equipment and materials for science lessons.

  • Laboratory Support: Assist teachers during practical activities where required.

  • Stock Management: Monitor and maintain scientific equipment and supplies.

  • Health & Safety: Follow COSHH and laboratory safety procedures.

  • Department Support: Ensure laboratories are organised and ready for teaching.

The Candidate

  • Previous laboratory, science technician or relevant practical experience.

  • Strong organisational skills.

  • Good understanding of laboratory safety.
