Our Client is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join a successful secondary school in Norwich. This role represents an excellent opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about Science and enjoys encouraging students to question, investigate and develop a deeper understanding of the world around them.
The successful candidate will teach Science across Key Stages 3 and 4 and will be expected to deliver lessons that combine strong subject knowledge with practical and engaging activities. Depending on experience and specialism, there may be opportunities to teach Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
You will be expected to plan lessons carefully, differentiate effectively and use assessment to identify misconceptions and monitor student progress. The school is particularly keen to appoint a teacher who can maintain high expectations while ensuring that Science is accessible and enjoyable for students of all abilities.
As a member of the Science department, you will contribute to curriculum development, assessment and departmental planning. Collaboration is highly valued, and staff are encouraged to share ideas and resources to improve outcomes for students.

Experience and Qualifications:
Science Teacher with the ability to teach KS3 and KS4
Strong subject knowledge across one or more Science disciplines
Formal teaching qualification with QTS or recognised equivalent
Experience teaching Science in a secondary school
Ability to deliver practical, engaging and differentiated lessons
Strong classroom management skills
Ability to assess and monitor student progress effectively
Commitment to raising attainment and developing scientific understanding
Experienced teachers and ECTs are encouraged to apply
Overseas-qualified teachers with appropriate formal teaching qualifications may be considered
Legal ability to work within the UK
