Our Client is seeking a talented and creative Art Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Luton. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to inspire students through a varied Art curriculum, helping them to develop their technical abilities, creative confidence and understanding of different artistic approaches.
The role will involve teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4, with responsibility for planning and delivering lessons that encourage experimentation, independent thinking and artistic expression. You will be expected to provide students with opportunities to work across a variety of media and techniques while developing their ability to evaluate and refine their work.
The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, imaginative and committed to creating a classroom environment where students feel comfortable taking creative risks. You should be able to demonstrate strong subject knowledge and the ability to adapt teaching to accommodate students with different levels of confidence and artistic experience.
There will also be opportunities to contribute to displays, exhibitions, extracurricular activities and wider creative projects across the school.

Experience and Qualifications:
Art Teacher able to teach KS3 and KS4
Strong practical and theoretical knowledge of Art
Formal teaching qualification with QTS or equivalent
Experience teaching Art in a secondary school
Ability to differentiate effectively for a wide range of abilities
Strong classroom management and organisational skills
Ability to motivate students and encourage creativity
Commitment to high-quality teaching and student progress
ECTs and experienced teachers are welcome to apply
Overseas-qualified teachers may be considered where they hold an appropriate formal teaching qualification
Legal ability to work within the UK
