Our Client is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and inspirational Music Teacher to join a successful school in Stevenage. This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about Music and enjoys encouraging young people to develop both their practical skills and their appreciation of a broad range of musical styles.

The successful applicant will be expected to deliver Music lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, creating engaging and accessible learning experiences for students with different levels of prior musical experience. You will be responsible for planning lessons that combine theoretical understanding with practical music-making, helping pupils develop their confidence, creativity and technical ability.

The school is looking for a teacher who can inspire students and make Music an enjoyable and meaningful part of their education. Lessons should encourage pupils to experiment, perform, compose and evaluate their own work while developing a strong understanding of musical terminology and concepts.

Experience and Qualifications:

• Music Teacher with the ability to teach across KS3 and KS4

• Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for Music

• Formal teaching qualification with QTS or recognised equivalent

• Experience teaching Music within a secondary school environment

• Ability to deliver engaging practical and theoretical lessons

• Strong classroom management and communication skills

• Ability to inspire students with different levels of musical experience

• Willingness to contribute to extracurricular activities and school performances

• Applications welcomed from experienced teachers and ECTs

• Overseas teachers with a recognised formal teaching qualification may be considered

• Legal ability to work within the UK
