Job Overview
The successful candidate will deliver high-quality Geography lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, supporting pupils with a wide range of abilities and backgrounds.
The school is looking for a teacher who can create a calm, purposeful classroom environment while developing pupils’ geographical knowledge and enthusiasm for the subject.
Key Responsibilities
Teach Geography across KS3 and KS4
Plan differentiated and accessible lessons
Use assessment to monitor pupil progress
Support pupils with SEND and additional learning needs
Develop pupils’ geographical enquiry and analytical skills
Contribute to Humanities department meetings and planning

Candidate Requirements
QTS and a relevant Geography qualification
Recent secondary Geography teaching experience
