An ambitious secondary academy in Dudley is seeking a dynamic and well-qualified History Teacher to join its Humanities department for January 2027.

Job Overview

This role offers an excellent opportunity for a History Teacher to join a forward-thinking school with high expectations for both staff and pupils. The successful candidate will teach History across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 and contribute to the continued development of the subject.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver well-planned and engaging History lessons across KS3 and KS4

  • Develop pupils’ historical knowledge, analysis and evaluation skills

  • Prepare pupils effectively for GCSE examinations

  • Use assessment information to identify areas for intervention

  • Contribute to departmental planning and curriculum development

  • Establish positive relationships with pupils and colleagues
