You will teach Mathematics across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, helping students develop secure knowledge across number, algebra, geometry, statistics, probability and ratio.
A major focus of the role will be developing students' mathematical reasoning and problem-solving abilities. You will encourage pupils to explain their methods, identify errors and apply their understanding to unfamiliar problems.
At GCSE, you will support students with examination preparation and help them develop confidence with both routine and more challenging questions. Regular assessment will be used to identify gaps in understanding, allowing you to provide targeted intervention and appropriate extension.
The successful candidate will be able to make mathematical concepts accessible to students of different abilities while maintaining high expectations for effort and achievement.
