Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Psychology Teacher to join a highly regarded school in Southend-on-Sea. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate educator who enjoys helping students develop their understanding of human behaviour, research methods and the wider psychological world.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering well-planned, engaging and appropriately challenging Psychology lessons. You will be expected to encourage students to think critically, develop their analytical skills and apply psychological theories and concepts to real-world situations.
You will join an established department where colleagues work collaboratively to share ideas, develop resources and support students in achieving their academic goals. The school is looking for a teacher who can contribute positively to the department while establishing strong and respectful relationships with students.
The role would suit an experienced Psychology Teacher who is looking for a new challenge, as well as an ECT seeking to develop their teaching within a supportive environment.

Experience and Qualifications
Qualified Psychology Teacher with strong subject knowledge
Ability to teach Psychology across the relevant key stages
Formal teaching qualification with QTS, such as a PGCE
Strong understanding of Psychology curriculum content
Ability to plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons
Excellent communication and classroom management skills
Ability to motivate students and encourage independent thinking
Commitment to high standards of teaching and learning
Applications welcomed from experienced teachers and ECTs
Overseas teachers with an appropriate formal teaching qualification are encouraged to apply
Legal ability to work within the UK
