A Varied Finance Role Within an Established School
An established independent school in Manchester is looking for an experienced Finance Officer to join its professional finance and operations team.
This is a varied position covering day-to-day financial administration, purchase and sales ledgers, reconciliations and supporting budget management.
What You'll Be Doing
Processing invoices and purchase orders
Managing purchase and sales ledgers
Carrying out bank reconciliations
Processing BACS and supplier payments
Monitoring departmental budgets
Managing fee and payment queries
Maintaining accurate financial records
Supporting month-end processes
Assisting with financial reporting
Working closely with the Bursar and senior leadership
About You
Previous school finance experience is preferred, although strong finance experience from another sector will be considered.
You'll need excellent Excel skills, strong attention to detail and experience using finance software.
