An established independent school in Merton is seeking an experienced Science Technician to join its well-resourced Science Department.
With small classes and excellent practical facilities, the school provides an environment where students can get genuinely hands-on with Science and technicians play an important part in making that possible.
The Role
Preparing practical experiments across the Sciences
Setting up apparatus and resources
Supporting teachers during practical lessons
Maintaining laboratory equipment
Preparing and storing chemicals safely
Managing stock and consumables
Completing safety checks
Maintaining COSHH documentation
Keeping laboratories and prep rooms organised
Supporting GCSE practical work

About You
Previous school-based Science Technician experience would be highly desirable.
You'll need to be confident working across Biology, Chemistry and Physics and understand the importance of laboratory safety.
