Support Science in a Close-Knit School Environment

A growing independent school in Lewisham is looking for a Science Technician to join its practical Science provision.

The school offers small classes and a close-knit learning environment, giving the successful candidate plenty of opportunity to work directly alongside teachers and support students during practical lessons.

Your Responsibilities

• Preparing practicals across Biology, Chemistry and Physics

• Setting up equipment before lessons

• Supporting teachers during experiments

• Cleaning and maintaining laboratory equipment

• Managing scientific resources and consumables

• Monitoring stock levels

• Ordering equipment when required

• Maintaining COSHH records

• Supporting laboratory health and safety

• Keeping preparation areas organised

What We're Looking For

You should be practical, organised and able to work independently. Previous experience in a school Science Department or laboratory environment would be beneficial.

A relevant Science qualification or strong practical Science background would also be welcomed.
