The successful candidate will work alongside teaching staff, pastoral colleagues and the wider leadership team to support pupils who may experience difficulties with behaviour, attendance, motivation or emotional regulation. The role is suited to someone who is patient, consistent and committed to helping young people make positive progress.
The Role
The Behaviour Mentor will provide targeted support to pupils who require additional guidance in managing their behaviour and engaging successfully with school life.
Responsibilities will include developing positive relationships with pupils, helping them understand behavioural expectations and encouraging them to take responsibility for their choices. The successful candidate will support pupils in lessons, during social times and in designated intervention sessions, depending on the needs of the school.

A consistent, fair and practical approach is important, alongside the ability to remain calm under pressure. The candidate must understand the importance of safeguarding, confidentiality and accurate record-keeping.
