Wayman Education is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable History Teacher to join an ambitious secondary school in Coventry. This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who enjoys creating engaging lessons and encouraging students to develop a genuine interest in History.

Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: MPS/UPS, dependent on experience

The Role

  • Teach History across KS3 and KS4.

  • Plan and deliver stimulating lessons.

  • Develop students' knowledge, interpretation and analytical skills.

  • Prepare students for GCSE examinations.

  • Assess and track student progress.

  • Contribute to departmental planning and enrichment activities.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Qualified Teacher Status.

  • Strong academic knowledge of History.

  • Secondary teaching experience.

  • Excellent classroom management.

  • Ability to inspire and motivate students.

  • Commitment to high standards of teaching and learning.
