⚠️ Previous School HR Experience Essential

A high-performing secondary school in Hertfordshire is looking for an experienced HR Manager to lead its day-to-day HR function.

Previous experience working within a school is essential, alongside strong knowledge of education-sector HR procedures.

The Role

  • Managing the school's HR function

  • Supporting recruitment and onboarding

  • Managing contracts and employee records

  • Overseeing DBS and safer recruitment processes

  • Maintaining the Single Central Record

  • Advising managers on HR matters

  • Supporting absence and performance processes

  • Managing HR systems

  • Supporting employee relations

  • Ensuring HR policies remain up to date

About You

You'll need strong knowledge of school HR and excellent communication skills.

CIPD qualification or equivalent HR experience would be advantageous, alongside experience with safeguarding and safer recruitment requirements.
