Key Responsibilities

• Supporting the day-to-day running of the school office.

• Maintaining accurate pupil records.

• Updating school databases and management systems.

• Supporting attendance and admissions administration.

• Answering telephone calls and responding to enquiries.

• Welcoming parents, visitors and external professionals.

• Preparing letters and school correspondence.

• Organising meetings and appointments.

• Maintaining confidential documentation.

• Supporting staff with administrative tasks.

• Assisting with school events and activities.

• Ensuring deadlines and administrative procedures are followed.

Requirements

• Previous experience working within a secondary school administration environment is essential.

• Experience using SIMS, Arbor or similar systems.

• Strong administrative and organisational skills.

• Excellent attention to detail.

• Confident communication skills.

• Ability to work under pressure in a busy environment.

• Professional and approachable manner.

• Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one.
