This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous school examinations experience who is confident managing deadlines, confidential information and detailed examination processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinating internal and external examinations.

• Managing examination entries and deadlines.

• Liaising with examination boards.

• Preparing examination timetables.

• Organising examination rooms and seating plans.

• Producing candidate documentation.

• Managing examination materials securely.

• Supporting invigilator arrangements.

• Maintaining accurate examination records.

• Ensuring examination regulations are followed.

• Communicating examination information to pupils, parents and staff.

• Managing results and examination-related administration.

• Supporting post-results procedures.

Requirements

• Previous experience working as an Exams Officer within a school or college is essential.

• Strong knowledge of examination procedures.

• Excellent organisational skills.

• High level of attention to detail.

• Ability to manage strict deadlines.

• Strong administrative and IT skills.

• Ability to handle confidential information professionally.

• Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one.
